As a private, not-for-profit United Way agency, we do not turn away children who need services. We do, however, accept reimbursement from the following sources:

• Medicaid
• All MC+ Health Plans
• Private Insurance
• Missouri First Steps Program (IDEA, Part C program that provides services for Missouri infants and toddlers with disabilities)
• Public School Early Childhood Special Education Programs (IDEA, Part B program that provides services for children with disabilities from age 3 to age 5)
• Parent-pay
• The Special Learning Center also receives funding from the United Way of Central Missouri; Cole County Special Services (Senate Bill 40 Board); grants from state, federal and private sources; and private donations.
